I’ve never worked with a coach before. Is this for me?
Have you ever hired a designer to help you set a vision for a certain part of your home? Or contracted a painter because he or she has the tools to make the outcome so much better (and gets it done faster)? I like to think of health coaching in a similar way. I am great at listening to the outcomes you desire in your life and helping you paint a vision to get there. I also have tools and experience to support you in setting goals that will prevent you from spinning your wheels quite so much. It’s a great way to get a jumpstart to the life and health you’ve been longing for. And – by joining a group coaching program like this one, you’ll get to experience the benefits of health coaching at a fraction of the cost of individual coaching.
I already know a lot about health, wellness, and self improvement, but just haven’t been able to stick with my goals. Is this program for me?
One of the main reasons I became a health coach was because I’d been teaching health education classes for years but rarely saw that increasing someone’s knowledge led to lasting change. What does the program look like?
The program will start the week of January 21. Prior to that date, I’ll send a survey to find a day and time that works for participants in the program. We’ll meet each week via Zoom call for 45 minutes where I’ll provide some exercises and worksheets on the focus for the week, provide coaching to all participants aimed at their specific goals, and check in on progress from prior weeks. You’ll also receive a weekly email with that weeks’ meals (including snacks) as well as a monthly calendar and fitness challenges. As an added bonus, you can schedule up to two one-on-one coaching sessions for individualized guidance and support.
What if I can’t make all of the weekly calls?
The calls will be recorded and sent to all participants. This way, you’ll still be getting all of the content and moving forward with your goals, even if you can’t attend live. No sweat!
I don’t like to cook…will the meal plans still work for me?
I have different options to offer if you’re not a fan of cooking. The meal plans also provide you with step-by-step instructions and shopping lists so that you can incorporate as many or as little of the meals as you like. My goal is to show you that meal planning and prepping can be easy – and you’ll have 12 weeks of meals and snacks to pull from when the program is over.
I’m not currently exercising. Can I still participate in the fitness challenges?
The challenges have been created with different fitness levels in mind. There are both beginner and advanced exercises. Don’t fret – the challenges are a great way to kickstart exercise and start building strength and confidence in your abilities.
